This Christmas, in place of sending corporate gifts, CRJ Services will be supporting two charities with donations of £1,000 each.

It has become tradition for CRJ to donate to charities at Christmas, as it is a lovely time of year for many, however for some it can be the most difficult time of year. Therefore, our team have suggested charities close to their hearts, which were shortlisted and voted upon.

This year, CRJ Services will be supporting FareShare and The Brain Tumour Charity. Both charities do so much fantastic work in their fields, and we are very proud to be supporting their efforts.

Fareshare

FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 17 independent organisations. They have recently been in the news thanks to support from England Football’s Marcus Rashford, at the beginning of the Covid outbreak.

FareShare take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to almost 11,000 frontline charities and community groups.

The food they redistribute is nutritious, in-date and good to eat. It reaches charities across the UK, including school breakfast clubs, older people’s lunch clubs, homeless shelters, and community cafes. Every week they provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people.
