JENZ Expands High-Performance Biomass Processing Range with BA 1026 Tiger

JENZ has expanded its biomass processing portfolio with the introduction of the BA 1026 Tiger, a new flagship machine designed for high-volume biomass processing and waste wood applications.

As the largest and most powerful shredder in the JENZ range, the BA 1026 Tiger combines significant power reserves with a robust construction engineered for continuous operation in demanding environments.

At the heart of the machine is an 812hp CAT C18 Stage V engine paired with JENZ’s proven TwinGear system. This combination allows operators to utilise different rotor speeds at full engine power, enabling efficient operation across both shredding and chipping applications.

A key feature of the BA 1026 Tiger is its large hopper trough, which offers a volume of approximately 9m³ and a length of 4.82m. Combined with a low loading height of just 2.3m, the design facilitates efficient material intake while helping operators maintain productivity throughout the working day. The generous feed opening, measuring 1,620mm by 960mm, further supports the machine’s high-capacity processing capabilities. This combination delivers excellent stability and smooth running characteristics, even when processing challenging material streams under continuous load.

Built for heavy-duty operation, the BA 1026 Tiger is mounted on a robust D4 crawler undercarriage and has an operating weight of 32 tonnes.

The machine is capable of handling a wide range of biomass materials, including green waste, bark, roots and waste wood. Where it can shred green waste up to 520 m³ per hour, and in waste wood applications, throughput can exceed 450m³ per hour, making the BA 1026 the highest-capacity shredder currently available within the JENZ product range.

To support efficient material handling on site, the BA 1026 Tiger is equipped with a compact, foldable discharge conveyor capable of reaching discharge heights of up to 4.9m, providing flexibility when loading trailers or creating stockpiles.

With its combination of high intake capacity, impressive throughput and robust construction, the BA 1026 Tiger represents the latest addition to JENZ’s growing range of biomass processing equipment and further strengthens the manufacturer’s offering in the high-performance segment.
