Supporting East Cheshire Hospice

East Cheshire Hospice provides vital care and support to people living with life‑limiting illnesses, as well as thesir families and loved ones. Serving the local community, the hospice focuses on comfort, dignity and compassion, offering specialist care when it matters most. As a charity, East Cheshire Hospice relies heavily on fundraising and community support to continue delivering these essential services.

The Christmas Tree Collection Fundraiser

One of the hospice’s much‑loved annual fundraisers is the Christmas tree collection. After the festive period, volunteers collect real Christmas trees from homes across the area in return for a donation, ensuring they are responsibly recycled while raising much‑needed funds for the hospice. It’s a simple idea with a big impact, bringing the community together for a great cause.

This year, CRJ Services was proud to support the operation once again. Rob Symons gave up his weekend to help keep things running smoothly, operating the JENZ BA 926 high‑speed shredder and assisting with emptying vans as trees arrived throughout the day. This marks our fourth year supporting the Christmas tree collection.
