Today’s waste streams contain metals more often than not. Thanks to eddy current separators, you can recover the metal to obtain a cash value. This process not only enhances overall separation quality but also minimizes the material sent to landfill. Another benefit of using an eddy current separator is that it protects valuable equipment in waste separation processes. Without extracting the metal, the material could cause damage and downtime for equipment in the process.
The Steelweld Strobe ECS2000 is a mobile eddy current separators which use powerful magnetic fields to separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals, such as aluminium and copper from a variety of materials.
The Steelweld Strobe ECS2000 comes fitted with crawler tracks, an onboard diesel generator and a hydraulic power pack allowing for easy site manoeuvrability. The metal separator can be transported on a low loader trailer without permits and its unique low feed height allows it to be directly fed from a trommel.
With quick set up times and an easy-to-use push button control panel, this machine is easily maintained and consistently delivers high performance.
Mobile Power
Equipped with crawler tracks, onboard generator, and hydraulic power pack, the ECS2000 can operate independently on-site. Its compact transport design allows easy movement without permits.
Metal Separation
A vibratory feeder and Rare Earth Drum remove ferrous metals, while the 2000 mm wide ECS efficiently extracts non-ferrous. This ensures clean and effective material separation in one pass.
User Control
Adjustable rotor and belt speeds let operators optimise sorting for different materials. Simple push-button controls and folding conveyors improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
