The HAAS TYRON 2000 XL QC is a powerful twin-shaft, slow-speed shredder designed for high-volume waste processing. It can shred a wide range of materials and waste, with throughput capacities up to 65 tonnes per hour. Its versatility is matched only by its strong performance, boasting an aggressive infeed with its independently driven shafts, customisable shredding programs, and robust construction make it ideal for handling diverse materials.
The defining feature of these machines is their independently driven twin shaft set up which allows for greater control over the output size. You can adjust the shaft rotation speed and direction to optimise the output product. There is a range of preset settings for wood, general waste and organic waste. You can also manually adjust a variable setting to suit the requirements of your operation. The ability to reverse both shafts independently also protects the shredder against wrapping of long fibrous material, meaning a reduction in downtime spent cleaning the machine/clearing blockages.

The HAAS TYRON 2000 XL QC is powered by a robust 316 kW Scania diesel engine, engineered for heavy-duty, high-volume waste processing. Independant shafts
The machine features independently driven shafts, allowing operators to adjust the speed, direction, and torque of each shaft separately. This flexibility improves shredding efficiency across varying material types and helps prevent blockages and wrapping, especially when dealing with tough or fibrous waste streams.
2m shafts
Fitted with twin 2-metre-long shredding shafts, the machine offers a large shredding surface area to handle high volumes of material with ease. The extended shaft length improves material intake and throughput, contributing to greater efficiency and a uniform shred size.
