The JENZ Hackthor range

Late 2025, JENZ GmbH unveiled the Hackthor range – Hackthor 583, Hackthor 593 and Hackthor hybrid – their most ambitious development project to date. Besides investing in a reputable brand like JENZ, the Hackthor offers a self-propelled chipper with a purpose-built chipper cabin.

Unlike adapted crane or agricultural cabs, the Hackthor features the industry’s first purpose-built chipper cabin, delivering true 360-degree visibility, outstanding comfort, and improved operational efficiency. The innovative JENZ Skyview system raises the cab by 1.2 metres from road to working position, while a 30cm forward cab offset in operating mode enhances crane reach and material control.

Built on a dedicated truck chassis, the Hackthor also offers excellent road performance, with top speeds of up to 80 km/h, ensuring fast, efficient transport between sites. The Hackthor is packed with advanced systems designed to protect the machine, support the operator, and maximise output. The easy2advanced, an all-new configurable display, enhances driver assistance through integrated electronic control systems tailored to individual operator preferences. Chipper Feed Assist ensures consistent chip quality while boosting production, and the Impact Protection System helps minimise damage if foreign objects enter the rotor. To keep machines working in even the harshest environments, JENZ Telematics enables real-time monitoring, fault diagnosis, and remote support  – reducing downtime and improving operational reliability.
