Parry and Evans Ltd, a family-run recycling business based in Welshpool, Wales, has been at the forefront of recycling for over 60 years. Operating across two sites, the company employs more than 60 staff, manages a fleet of 13 vehicles, and deploys 200 skips nationwide. Processing over 3,500 tonnes of paper, cardboard, and plastic each week, Parry and Evans has become one of Wales’ leading recycling centres.

CRJ recommended the Haas Tyron 2000XL 2.0 (7-7/4) for its independently driven twin-shaft configuration, capable of handling high volumes while maintaining consistent throughput. The shredder features a large tilting hopper with foldable extensions, increasing the infeed area—ideal for the long cardboard tubes present in Parry and Evans’ recycling process.
