Celebrating 80 Years Since VE Day at Deva Point
Residents and staff at Deva Point, an Extra Care scheme, enjoyed a day of celebration to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the VE Day.
The celebration party was organised to honour the bravery and sacrifice made by all who served our country during the Second World War, and especially to mark the end of the war in Europe on 8 May 1945.
A Lasting Tribute
To mark this important milestone, we chose to donate a Special Anniversary rose, accompanied by a commemorative plaque. The rose serves as a lasting tribute – something that will continue to grow and bloom year after year, just as the legacy of those who served continues to live on.
